We arrive

Arrived in Paris after a long flight with a three hour stopover in Singapore. We recommend the slumberette for anyone doing the trip. A 2 hour sleep was much appreciated at that time. We arrived in Paris at 5:30 am feeling not too shabby.

Made it too the hostel by 8:30, dropped our bags and set off to the Louvre and to walk around the city itself.



Lunch on the Champs-Élysées, expensive but well worth it, and then off for a look at the Arch de Triomphe.



Back to the hostel (getting too old for this sh.. - luckily we booked no more, but the view is excellent on the banks of this canal).
