There was a massive queue for the main part of the cathedral I. The full sun at 37 degrees, so we didn't bother. Instead we we set of in search for a "huge" cast iron cross which was so tiny we spent an hour looking for it and passed in 2 or 3 times. Don't bother.

We did however walk through the local park and to the Plaza De Espana. Which was sensational. From there we passed the monument to Christopher Columbus. Not in the guide but far better than the cross.

Then we past the bull fighting but both decided that it was not for us. Instead we headed back into the centre of the old city and found what may prove to be the best paella we will ever have. One problem that we are unlikely to ever find it again either.

MAfter lunch we headed to the Alcazar or palace. The highlight of this one was probably the gardens and maybe the 1000 year old moorish fountain.
We settled in for a bit of rest before attending a local flamenco performance. Jo is not allowed to see one ever again.

Thought for the day. Sorry, today, got nothing.
