To top it off, despite having ordered tickets for the Alhambra two months in advance, we still for some unknown reason, had to queue for 45 minutes in the blazing sun to pick them up. Oh wait, the reason was that having one ticket booth open for both the direct sales and the pre-paid tickets while the other ticket people eat cakes and while there are 100 people waiting in line, just doesn't cut the mustard.
Once in the Alhambra, we queued at every possible point. We counted a total of six times, while they checked our ticket each time. We couldn't see what all the fuss was. It was nice but we have seen better while we have been away. Better, cheaper and less queuing.

After we left the Alhambra, and after dinner, we headed to the Arabic baths, a series of hot, warm cold pools and a steam room. It was only €22 each and we could stay for up to 2 hours. The best thing after a long day walking and queuing.
Back to the room. It was ideally placed right beside the main square in the old part of town. Great, except the old par of town doesn't stop until around 3am when the commence to clean it for the next 4 hours. Sleep was impossible.
Thought for day. Check you ticket thoroughly.
